Laverne Oliver is a devout Christian for over 47 years. She was born and raised in Bartow, GA. She is currently a member of Ebenezer Chapel in New Haven, CT for over 41 years. She is the Superintendent of the Christian Education Department and Children’s Ministry. She and her husband, Mark, lead the Couple’s Marriage Ministry and have been married for 41 years. They reside in New Haven, CT and have two grown daughters.

I tell this story to testify what God can do in a broken, messed up, and disturbed marriage. As a result of my struggle, my passion for marriage and family was birthed. Now, I celebrate 41 years of marriage with two beautiful grown daughters. Marriage still has its ups and downs, but I am determined to leave a legacy. So, as you read this book, open your heart to receive God’s blessing. With God, all things are possible. Marriages are really made in heaven but lived here on Earth. It is the greatest challenge ever. Enjoy the journey!
